Maisie is year old old Black Mouth Cur mix who was originally found in a ditch in rural GA before being saved and taken into rescue. We don't know what happened to her in her short life, but she was completely shut down and withdrawn until another pup, Hattie, came into her foster home. With Hattie's help, Maisie was able to come out of her shell. She has become a real puppy. She loves to play and will sometimes cuddle, on her terms. Maisie definitely wants to be loved, but is shy and needs a patient home that will allow her to decompress. She gets along with other dogs, but takes a little to warm up to them.
